Saint Paul – The Chosen One EP (Saint Wax)
Saint Paul, a key figure in the Moonrise Hill Material collective, returns with a sun-drenched selection for his first release of the year, landing on Saint Wax with a six-track EP that oozes warmth and groove. Opener The Chosen One is pure feel-good fire, pairing shimmering chords and dusty vocal chops with bumpy, floor-ready drums. Pour L'Amour Du G-Funk (69 La Trik) turns up the funk with woozy pads and squelchy synth work, while Bay Disco Orkestra taps into retro-disco flavours with added percussive spice. On the flip, things slow down and stretch out Jazzy, soulful deep house that leans into live textures and melodic finesse. Gledd rounds out the package with a Latin-tinged rework of Don’t Hold Back Da Groove, injecting swing and sunshine in all the right places. A rich, versatile record built for selectors who like it smooth, funky, and full of soul.

JKriv & Megatronic – Out Of Time (RNT 7” Series)
As a massive fan of RNT and JKriv’s work in general, this reunion on Out Of Time hits all the right notes. The track builds slowly with layered percussion and Megatronic’s spoken-word vocals, weaving a poetic meditation on digital-age disillusionment. When those stabbing synths and growling basslines kick in, it explodes into a powerful, chant-like climax made for the dancefloor. The flip’s instrumental version keeps the energy raw and ready for peak-time carnage.
